I understand the importance of customer service to ensure you have a great experience every time. Design Capital was founded by me, Donna Bouma in April 2010.

I’m Donna Bouma and I'm the owner and creative director of Design Capital.
And while I could tell you that my 20 years industry experience and Advanced Diploma in Advertising and Graphic Design from Adelaide’s DMIT has made me the professional and creative designer I am today, the truth is that I was born a graphic designer.
For as long as I can remember, my dream was to work in the graphic design field. After graduating from high school, I hightailed it off to London, where I spent three years working in a photo lab and being surrounded by inspirational graphic designers. Noticing my passion (and knowing there was only one way to get me back to Australia), my parents lured me home with the promise of a three-year design and advertising certification with Adelaide’s DMIT.
I completed my qualification under the instruction of some of the best known designers in Australia and with a wide grin and feeling secure in the knowledge that I was on my way to a perfect career, I started my work as a graphic designer. To this day, I have never looked back.
My first job was as a bright-eyed in-house graphic designer at a Gold Coast pet supplies company. After another in-house role at a furniture business and the arrival of my three children, I finally founded Design Capital, an agency devoted to all things graphic design.
Design Capital has strong roots in Queensland because that is where it all started in 2010. Running the business online allowed me to see it thrive, we operated out of Canberra for seven years after we transferred there for work before setting up on the Gold Coast in 2017. We love all of our clients across Australia and have a special place in our heart for our clients from the Gold Coast, Brisbane and Canberra because of our origins.
